We started using Comfy Critters some time ago, and what an excellent service we get. Our circumstances are that we are both at work and struggle to get back home during the day to let Jock out.  Comfy Critters now take Jock for a walk during the day which has taken away the stress for all of us and best of all we always come home to a happy dog.   Mr & Mrs Bracken

Having moved to Salisbury in September 2005 from West Yorkshire with my two cats Bo and Leo it was important to find someone I could trust to look after them in my absence as I had no friends or family living near me to call upon.

My vet recommended Comfy Critters as one of my cats is an insulin dependent diabetic and therefore requires proper professional care.

Mac came to meet me and the boys and took detailed notes on their likes, dislikes feeding routines and health needs.  My cats have grown attached to Mac over the months, which is great as I have peace of mind when away form home knowing that they will be happy and well cared for.

We have used Comfy Critters since Bramble first arrived to the family in October 2005.  As one of us works away and the other three very long days a week we really needed someone reliable and trustworthy to come to our home and take Bramble for a good walk.  We found Comfy Critters telephone number advertised in our local shop which turned out to be the best thing I could have done for Bramble.  I’ve found the service to be not only professional and reliable but they truly have a love for animals and clearly enjoy the company of them.  I have no reservations and would (and have done so) recommend them to anyone.  Mrs Rogers. We have a very lively two year old border collie called Taffy. When we got him I was working at home so was able to walk him every day but my job changed so that I had to go out and about a lot which meant I couldn’t walk him all the time. Comfy Critters came to my rescue – for a year now they have been walking Taffy around three times a week. The service is excellent – they are absolutely 100% reliable and have never said no to a request for help, even at short notice. I especially appreciate the fact that they are properly trained in animal husbandry and give Taffy a good check over after every walk. I thoroughly recommend Comfy Critters and so does Taffy (I have a suspicion they might be his best friends!) - Holly McEnaney

Mac has been looking after George and Jasmine since March 2006 and he is just amazing. George and Jasmine are a pair of crazy spaniels who just love being out and I can always tell they have had a really fun time with him. When I told my son that we were asking Mac to look after G & J he was very jconcerned that Mac would look after them properly. Mac spent a lot of time with my son explaining his qualifications to him, what he would be doing with G & J and how he would look after them for us. He even took him out on a walk with G & J so he could walk the walk and not just hear the talk! I really appreciated Mac's care of the whole family. My son is happy, the dogs are definitely happy and so am I. Mrs C Tunnicliffe.

I was hospitalised unexpectedly with meningitis in September and my husband had to find someone at very short notice to help exercise our two Irish Setters, Tara (18 months) and Fergus (12 months).

Mac completed a certain amount of his pre-contract interview over the telephone to assist us and came around to meet the dogs within 24 hours of our initial call to him.

The dogs adore him and still look expectedly out of the window waiting for his van! Irish Setters are considered puppies until they reach 4 years of age! We were concerned that whoever we asked to help would be able to handle them as they are very boisterous, needing a lot of exercise.

Mac was completely untroubled by Tara and Fergus's exuberance and allowed them a few minutes of bounce when he arrived before calming them to check them over ahead of setting out for their walk.

I was fortunate enough to see him in action, as he walked the dogs for two weeks after I returned from hospital. I was immensely taken with the care and attention he took both before and after a walk, checking the dogs over initially for their general health and on returning. The dogs would return panting hard after a good walk, covered in burs and Mac would painstakingly remove every one of them from each dog.

He showed me how to perform a perfunctory first aid check of the dogs, which would give an indication of anything amiss with their general health. We have subsequently asked Mac to walk the dogs whist we were away attending a wedding in November.

Both my husband and I have been very impressed with Mac's service and have no doubt that we will continue to use his services on an ad hoc basis in the future. Mrs Willis
